FrontFamily ("we", "us") is a framework comparison and conversion tool. This policy explains what data we process, on what legal basis, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data We Collect

Code you paste into the converter: All code conversion happens entirely in your browser. We do not send your code to any server, store it, or log it. Nothing leaves your machine.

No accounts: FrontFamily does not require user accounts. We do not collect names, emails, or passwords.

4. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by OVH (Gravelines data centre, France, EU). When you access the site, the hosting infrastructure automatically processes technically necessary connection data in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or resource requested, referrer, and browser/operating-system information.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure, stable, and error-free operation of the website). These logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID: G-5WF82Q40T5), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how visitors use the site and collects:

• • Referral source (how you found the site)

Legal basis and consent: Processing is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG. Google Analytics is loaded only after you have given consent via our cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.

International transfer: Personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which an EU Commission adequacy decision exists; Standard Contractual Clauses additionally apply. Your IP address is anonymised by Google before storage. We do not combine analytics data with any personally identifiable information.

No other cookies are set by FrontFamily. Application state (selected frameworks, conversion history) is stored in your browser's localStorage for functionality only; it is never sent to any server and does not require consent. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time on the Cookie Policy page.

7. Third-Party Services

In addition to Google Analytics, the showroom and converter preview load framework CSS from public CDNs (jsDelivr, cdnjs) for live preview rendering. When your browser requests these files, the CDN providers may process standard web request data (IP address, user agent) as independent controllers. Legal basis for this functional loading: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing live preview rendering). We do not control their data practices; please refer to their respective privacy policies.
